Xoom Energy offers a number of residential electric plans to meet the varied needs of customers. In Texas, Xoom Electricity offers fixed price products for terms of 6, 12 and 24 months. These plans give customers the security of price certainty for the term of the contract. A twist to these standard fixed price plans is Xoom Energy’s Freelock plan. Freelock is essentially a 12-month fixed price plan where the 12-month is free as long as the customer is in good standing and renews with Xoom on any of its available plans. Residential customers can also select from variable rate plans where the price varies each month and the customer is not bound by a specified contract term. Plans with 50% renewable energy content are also available for both fixed price and variable plans.
Xoom Energy offers Texas small business customers a similar slate of retail electricity products from which to select. Fixed price plans are available to small commercial customer for terms of 6, 12 and 24 months. Variable price plans are also available for those business customer who prefer month-to-month service at market rates. Plans with 50% renewable energy content are available to those commercial customers who want to support green energy. Small commercial customers are defined as those customers with annual peak demand less than 50 kW.
Interacting with Xoom Energy is relatively easy. Customers can contact Xoom online or call their customer care center Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 9 pm Eastern time. Xoom also has an online customer portal that allows customers to view usage and bills, pay bills, and renew their service. Xoom has a loyalty rewards program that gives customers points for managing their account, engaging in social media, and playing games.
Xoom Energy participates in a number of charitable endeavors in the way of contributions, sponsorships, and volunteerism.
