Liberty Power offers residential customers fixed price electricity plans with terms of 12 or 24 months. This product provides customers with the security of a fixed rate and protects them from electricity market price volatility. Commercial customers also have access to the same fixed price products and terms. Liberty Power commercial customers also have the opportunity to select an index rate. An index rate plan allows commercial customers to take advantage of electricity price trends and can be converted to a fixed rate at any time. More customized plans are available for large commercial and industrial customers to meet their particular supply needs and risk profile.
Liberty Power has a number of additional products and services available to its retail electric customers. Liberty Green is a renewable energy product that allows the customer to designate up to 100% of their electricity usage as green. Liberty uses Green-e certified renewable energy credits for all markets except Illinois. Green-e certification allows customers to trust Liberty’s renewable energy content claims. Liberty Electricity also offers customers a suite of non-energy services including identity theft protection, credit monitoring, and technical support with online data backup.
Liberty Power supports a number of charitable causes through financial contributions and volunteerism. Charites supported include the American Red Cross, Kids in Distress, Make-a-Wish Foundation, and the American Cancer Society. Liberty is also active in supporting STEM education through its Bright Horizons Scholarship. This scholarship program has provided over $100,000 to undergraduate and graduate students engaged in science, technology, engineering, and math education.
