Corporate Offices: 2759 W Business 83, Harlingen, TX 78551
Hino Electric Power Company is a retail electric supplier serving residential and commercial customers in deregulated areas in Texas. Based in Harlingen, Texas, Hino Electric Power has been serving retail energy consumers since 2003. While Hino Electric Power serves all Texas deregulated utility service areas, it focuses heavily on the Ro Grande Valley where customers are familiar with its parent company, Hino Gas Sales. Founded in 1963, Hino Gas Sales is a leading propane distributor in the Rio Grande Valley.
Hino Electric Power offers competitive rates on fixed price electric plans. Customers can select from a variety of contract terms to protect themselves from energy market volatility. In addition to standard term lengths like 3, 12 and 18 months, Hino Electric Power also offers odd term lengths (e.g., 27 months) that take advantage of seasonal pricing opportunities in the wholesale electricity market. Customers who do not want a credit check processed may pay a non-refundable security fee of $140.
Hino Electric Power also offers prepaid electric service for customers who prefer month-to-month service with no credit check. For as little as $30, customers can initiate prepaid electric service. Hino Electric Power provides prepaid customers with a daily email or text update showing their energy usage and account balance so that they can add money to their account as necessary.
Commercial customers can also sign up with Hino Electric Power as their retail energy provider. Face-to-face customer service and the ability to contact Hino Electric Power’s commercial team management directly are among the benefits provided to business customers. Hino Electric Power maintains sales offices in McAllen, Harlingen, and South Padre Island.
Hino Electric Power maintains a customer care call center Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. It is important to note that while Hino Electric Power serves the entire Texas deregulated electric market; many of its service features are targeted to Rio Grande Valley customers who value the ability to make payments in person or stop by one the local sales offices. In addition, it is important to read the Electricity Facts Label to understand about additional charges that apply for speaking with a customer service agent, making online payments, making payments over the phone, or requesting duplicate copies of bills or notices. For customers that enroll and use Autopay, these additional fees do not come into play. However, customers that have a frequent history of contacting customer service to make payments or request extended payment terms should understand that these fees could be significant.

The people in the office are unprofessional and don't care about helping you or hearing you out AT ALL ! If anyone else is experiencing the "3 weeks of billing mistakes" PLEASE CONTACT ME !
